Of all the iPhone 6-related leaks we’ve had over the past few months, the rear shell has been a recurring one, presenting us with a fairly solid idea of what to expect from the upcoming handset’s form factor. Until the manufacturing process apparently began just a short while ago, we were only really seeing mockups and case molds, but in recent times, we’ve had first-hand glimpses at what is claimed to be the iPhone 6′s actual back cover. Now, in some of the clearest shots to date, we get up close and personal with the silver model of the forthcoming Apple smartphone, offering one or two previously unseen details.
The credit for this particular scoop goes to perpetual leaker Sonny Dickson, and even though he’s come through with some leaked images of questionable authenticity in the past, we do believe that this latest reveal is indicative of the final design. Dickson certainly seems to think so, and although there’s some visible damage to this particular part, it slots nicely in with the numerous other reports and sightings we’ve had of the iPhone 6.
